Use of TPS51604 in boost controller

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS51604

The datasheet title for TPS51604 is "Synchronous Buck FET Driver".  I would like to use it in a boost application.

Nothing in the function block diagram jumps out at me.

Does anyone see anything that might prevent it from being used?

My application is to boost a ~3.7V battery to 24V (30 watts max) and I do have 5V available to power the driver.  My Switching freq is 500k to 1MHz so its adaptive near zero dead time reducing Qrr losses is very nice!

Thank you,

Chris
