There is a TI power manager(UCD9248) on our product. I found temp monitoring of UCD9248 is dislocation. How to use TI FUSION Digital power manager tool to re-configure UCD9248. Is there any document to reffer?

Hi Toby,
UCD9248's internal temperature sensor is not adjustable and may not be accurate enough. If it cannot meet your needs, suggest use an external temperature sensor. There is a temperature sensor input pin on UCD9248.

Hi Zhiyuan
Thank for your reply. I have been confused by the problem. There are 5 temperature inputs through a Analog Multiplexers(74HC4051M) in our Product.
I found external temperature could not match up with Rail #. Is there a mechanism of their correspondence?
Best Regards
Toby
Hi Toby,
There are TMUX0-2 pins to control the 74HC4051. Please refer to datasheet page 23, subsection "Temperature Monitoring" for details.

Zhiyuan
it is expected corresponding relation as below. but i found actual relation as another list table.
May I use Fusion tool to modify the corresponding relation between temperature inputs and Power stage?
Temperature Input | 74HC4051 | Power stage |
Rail #1_1V2_2V5_TEMP | A0 | DPWM_1A |
Rail #1_1V2_2V5_TEMP | A1 | |
Rail #2_3V3_TEMP | A2 | DPWM_2A |
Rail #3_1V0_TEMP1 | A3 | DPWM_3A |
Rail #3_1V0_TEMP2 | A4 | DPWM_3B |
Rail #4_1V2_2V5_TEMP | A5 | DPWM_4A |
N/A | A6 | N/A |
N/A | A7 | N/A |
Temperature Input | 74HC4051 | Power stage |

Hi Toby,
The behavior of the device is that, if there are n phases in the design, the n temperature signals should be wired to the first n multiplexer inputs. In your case, you have 5 phases in the design. So the temperature signals should be wired to the first 5 inputs of the multiplexer.
Unfortunately this behavior cannot be changed from Fusion GUI.

Zhiyuan
