We received 22 of the subject parts through authorized distribution. Our Incoming Inspector noted that the base metal was exposed on the leads of one component (probably the power inductor) on most of the modules. The inspector cited IPC 610, Section 5.2.1, Page 5-5, Figure 5-8. See photo attached below.
Please explain if these are anomalous, or if it is typical. If typical, has there been any other complaints or known failures?
