UCD3138PFCEVM-026: Firmware source code for reconfiguring UCD3138PFCEVM-026 into Interleaved PFC or Bridgeless PFC

Part Number: UCD3138PFCEVM-026
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD3138

Can you please provide me source code for PWR026 PFC EVM, which is referred in 'designing a UCD3138controlled bridgeless PFC' document.

  • Hi,

The firmware can be downloaded from ti.com at:

    http://www.ti.com/tool/ucd3138fw-pfc

    Features

This firmware comes with native support for following features:

    • Innovative ZVS/Valley Switching Algorithm to boost light load efficiency and reduce THD
    • Integrated cycle by cycle protection provides protection for over voltage, over current, brownout, power-on inrush current
    • Easily re-configurable to dual-phase interleaved PFC or Bridgeless PFC
    • Integrated power metering capability eliminates dedicated power metering chip
    • 8X oversampling and innovative ZVS/valley switching improve light load efficiency & THD
    • EMI x-cap compensation to help simplify your system design.
    • Fast AC drop detection
    • Non-Linear digital control
    • Automatic current balancing for interleaved PFC
    • Current harmonic reduction by selective injection
    • Special burst mode improves efficiency
    • Duty ratio feed forward control
    • Dynamic loop compensation

     What’s Included:

    • Board support packages (BSPs)
    • User Guides

Hope this is what you need.

    Regards,

  • i have supplement question on this. the firmware is down loaded from thos link.
now the question , does this firmware will work in conjunxtion with "Fusion Design Offline" which helps to generate coefficients for UCD3138 device based PFC solution.
  • You need the Fusion Digital Power Studio here:
    www.ti.com/.../FUSION-DIGITAL-POWER-STUDIO
The fusion design studio has split off, and now supports other TI Devices.
