UCD3138: how UCD3138 judges whether the circuit state is DCM or CCM.

Part Number: UCD3138

Hello there
We are debugging the UCD3138 No. 29 full-bridge hard switch development board
We want to use the IDE method mentioned in the manual to reduce the duty cycle of the secondary synchronous rectifier drive in the DCM state.
We read the contents of the manual on "sync FET Ramp and IDE calculation". We have a problem: We do not know how UCD3138 judges whether the circuit state is DCM or CCM.
Thank you
