PMP8251 - POWER for Zynq-7000

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP8251, TPS54325, TPS74201

B.H.

Hello,

 Refers to PMP8251 Schematic -

Whther can I use TPS54325PWP instead of  TPS74201RGW to creates 1.5V supply ?

Best regards,

       Roie

  • Hello Roie,

From the TPS54325 product page, it states that "The output voltage can be programmed between 0.76 V and 5.5 V."

You should be able to use it instead of the TPS74201.  There will be a loss of specific features (LDO and SoftStart) that may or may not affect the performance of the device you are connecting to.  But just in terms of can it provide a 1.5V output, the answer would be yes.

    Thanks,

  • hi

I used this tps54325pwr for generating 1.2v as shown in the attached file.

Problem is when i fuse my FPGA then it consumes some current and my voltages goes down to 0.99V(avg voltage). and noise is increased. pls suggest what should i do to maintain my voltage again @ 1.2v.

    thanks
