Is this SM72442 IC suitable for my purpose(project)?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SM72442, SM72480

Hi, this is Choo.

I have a few questions about 'SM72442(MPPT controller) and AN-2124 SM3320'.

http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snosb84c/snosb84c.pdf

First of all, my plan is :

Vmpp of my PV panel(Vin of DC/DC converter) : 20~30[V]

Vout of DC/DC converter : about 90[V]

Question 1.

Is it possible to increase a 20~30[V] Vin(Vmpp:supply) to about 90[V] output voltage using 'SM72442(MPPT controller)'?

Question 2.

If my purpose(project) is possible, Please let me know if the 'SM72442' IC is operated as a boost converter or not.

( I want to operate the 'SM72442' IC as only boost converter not buck converter.)

Question3.

Is the temperature sensor(SM72480) essential?

Question4.

I have a serious doubt of whether the microcontoller circuit is essential for proper working of the 'SM72442'

Question5.

If it is impossible to increase a input voltage of 20~30[V] to a output voltage of 90[V] using the 'SM72442', Can you tell me another ICs suitable for my project?

Hope your generous understanding on my mistakes on grammar.

Regards,

Choo.
