Energy Havesting/scavenging from RS232

would any TI  products be suitable for "harvesting" (or "scavenging") energy from RS232 lines, and using that to charge a battery or supercapacitor?

In particular, to use only the data line - not the modem control lines.

There's plenty of things like this:

But it relies upon RTS & DTR - and the "host" maintaining them in a steady state. 

And it doesn't address battery/supercap management.
