REF5030: Ouotput Voltage Noise Density

Part Number: REF5030

Hello support team,

My customer would like to know the output noise density at 1kHz of REF5030.

Would it be possible to provide that data?

Best regards,

Kaizawa

  • Hi Kaizawa,

What output capacitor are they using? Do they have any filtering?

We recommend using the TI-TINA Reference Design to calculate the output noise using their specific capacitor values.

That being said, I would expect the noise density to be around 200nV/sqrt(Hz) at 1kHz if they have a 1uF capacitor in the Trim pin and 450nV/sqrt(Hz) if they dont.

  • In reply to Diego Lewis:

    Hi Diego,

    Thanks for your answer.
I'll calculate the noise spectrum using TINA-TI model with customer specific condition.

    Best regards,
    Kaizawa
