REF3233: Output voltage just become 3.3V after several power on/off cycles

Part Number: REF3233

Hi,

In our application we don't get 3.3V from REF3233-EP as expected but 3.24V to 3.28V.

After switching the REF3233-EP (see attached schematic) on/off several times, the output voltage then become 3.3V.

On the attached scope picture you can see the behavior of the IC during power-on:

Purple trace: input voltage (3.6V)

Green trace: Enable-Pin (3,3V)

Yellow trace: output voltage (3.28V)

Do you have an explanation for what is happening to the IC?

Cheers,

Giulliano

  • Hi Giulliano,

I currently do not have an explanation for this phenomena. I do have a few questions to better understand this behavior.

    1. Can you give me more information on the Vin?
    2. Can you send me a graph of your power cycling?

I would also advice to double check the "Supply Voltage" section of the datasheet.
