REF3225: When the Vin change from 3.3v to 5v, output voltage is not constantly 2.5v

Part Number: REF3225
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF3425,

Hi Engineers,

I have a customer who constructed a schematic like enclosure. The Vin is 3.3v, and the whole system worked fine. But when he changed the Vin from 3.3v to 5v, the pin5 and pin6 cannot get a desirable constant voltage. Sometimes 2.54v, sometines 2.47v, it all includes in the range of 2.47~2.56v. How can i improve it? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Jenny

  • Hi Jenny,

We had a similar thread recently here that can give you more details.

I would suggest to remove the filter or decrease the value of R5 and see its effects on the circuit.

If they are open to new devices, the REF3425 is P2P and is more input filter friendly. This device is also a new architecture and a refresh for the REF3225 that makes it more capable. For more details look here.
