please help to design an smps using ucc28610
i am new to design an smps.i would like to design an smps using ucc28610. can i use the design software provided with it. is it accurate?
also i need to calculate the number turns for the transformer from the primary inductance value and turns ratio obtained from the design software.can anyone provide the fromulae for that

Try to surf the web for how to calculate a Flyback in DCM. Both TI and Fairchild offers very good seminars, app notes and reference designs regarding Flyback design.

If you do a search in this forum for "UCC28610" and "MathCAD" you will see the pdf file of my entire MathCAD worksheet that I used to create the design Calculator. The file shows the iterations required to design the transformer to meet the frequency range, on-time limitation, and peak primary current limitations for this particular device. All of the equations are shown. I hope it helps.
