Kindly, suggest me the controller for isolated DC/DC
whose input voltage is -> 9V-30V, & ouput voltage is 12V. & max current load is 0.3A.
i am enclosing the Power Management Guide for 2011. The section you will be interested in starts on page 43 and actual devices listed on page 46, With the minimum information you have given me I would expect that you will want something like the UCC3800 series as it starts at 4.1 volts.

I see this controller.
But I am interested in may be some new products with maximum integration and low cost (for mass production).
Like this the Top Switch (only 5 jr 8 pins, integrated switch and etc.). But for the Top Switch the min supply voltage is 16V,
If it is something like this with power supply from 8...9 or low it will be the best choose for me.
I'm not sure where I need to put my question so I'll start here, it may be related.
I have a 300 foot 12 volt DC wire running up to 40 amps with a motor that runs for about 1-2 minutes at a time several times per day (depends on location) and flashing lights. A battery charger will be running on this line also.
I want to communicate from one end of the line to the other to tell the lights to flash and when the motor is to run. I will also monitor voltage at the far end and adjust it with a signal.
What is the best way to do this? I was thinking about using a complex chip to do it but can I do it simply with some LM567 PLL chips or similar to receive a tone over this power wire and when received, it turns on or off.
Any ideas on the best chip to do this?
