Hi,
The 7.7V series regulator in LM5030 should be enabled at start up, and the ENABLE signal should be from shutdown comparator.
Then the pull up voltage of current source into SS pin should be generated from VIN because Vcc can not be regulated before voltage at SS pin is rised.
Is my understanding correct?

The current source for the ss is generates from an internal VDD a low voltage regulated bias. So no it is not regulated from VIN, or VCC.

I understand that there is Vdd into LM5030 which is not stated in block diagram and it's regulated from VIN, not VCC.
