Request for spice model for UCC2895 compatible to SIMetrix/SIMPLIS simulation tool

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC2895, UCC28950

Hi,

I am trying to simulate a  Full Bridge DC DC buck converter using phase shift Resonant converter UCC2895.

The problem is that i could not use the PSPICE library model downloaded from your site in  SIMetrix/SIMPLIS simulation tool.

My request is that would you please provide me the library spice model UCC2895 .lib compatible to SIMetrx/SIMPLIS tool.

Thanks and regards

Parthiban

  • Hi ,

There is a forum for the simulation/models. Please repost your question there.

  • Hello,

I have checked the forum that was suggested, but could not find any mention of a Simplis/SiMetrix Model for the UCC28950 controller.  If there is one, could you please send me the link to it?  I have also tried importing the Pspice model into Simplis/Semtrix 7.10; with no luck.

    Thank you,

    Jason

  • Hi jason,

i guess, if you get the  zip file which shoudl have a text based Pspice model form this link http://www.ti.com/product/UCC28950/toolssoftware.

It can be just pulled in the Simetrix.

then in the Simetrix, model library editor, you can define Pin name

  • Hi Parthiban,

I am trying to simulate, using Simetrix/SIMPLIS, a phase-shifted full bridge converter (PSFB) using the UCC28950, the next generation controller for UCCx895, with additional control drive for synchronous rectifiers. I think the reason why the PSpice model cannot be imported directly to Simetrix/SIMPLIS library is because the .lib file is encrypted. I wonder if you succeeded in simulating the UCC2895 model in Simetrix/SIMPLIS. Could you help me how I can import the UCC28950 model to Simetrix/SIMPLIS?
