Question of the circuit of UCC28950EVM-442

I would like to confirm the circuit of UCC28950EVM-442. In the User's Guide for UCC28950EVM-442 page 4, there is the schematic.

I have questions of this circuit.

1. I think the cicuit consisted of D4, D6, R6, C1, R8 and R9 is snubber circuit for the peak.    Is this correct?

2. If it is correct, could you please explain how to design (with formula)?

    You are correct. The components you mention are an RCD clamp to protect the output synchronous rectifiers from over voltage due to switch node ringing. The values were chosen more or less empirically and would need to be adjusted based on switch waveforms and power requirements. You can get details on the circuit design in application report SLUA560
