I have an application for which the UCC28880 would be appropriate, but the customer for it requires a way to cut off power through an enable line. The way to do this would be through a solid-state relay, but doing it through the power input might be troublesome.
Can the VDD line be used to enable or disable the UCC28880 by cutting the path between the VDD output and the external capacitor? If not, is there another component that would be more appropriate?
