Ucc2897A - active clamp FET running v hot.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC2897

Hi - I am using the UCC2897 in a flyback design with an active clamp to eliminate ringing, but P  ch FET is getting v hot.

Please see attached drawing, which represents the circuit external to UCC2897.

The edges on the switching are <100ns, switching frequency 250KHz, with a PchFET capable of 250V and 13A. I'm at max 150V and around 1A. Looking for any suggestions as to why FET so hot.

cheers
