cross current in Hbridge with LM5045

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5045

I used LM5045 in an application as below:
vin=48v
operating frequency 50KHz
output: 280v_2A

it seems something has happened such as cross current (both of mosfets in one side of Hbridge turn on at the same time).
how can I solve this problem?

any help would be appreciated.

  • The LM5045 has a working frequency range of about 2MHz to 250kHz.
    If you did get it to operate at 50kHz I think that the signals would be distorted. For example the bootstrap supplies,BST1 and BST2 would be low.
    Please look at the switching waveforms and see how they look.
    I recommend that you consider using another TI part
  • in above mentioned application, finally I saw the 280V DC output, but whenever a load (even 120mA) is applied to the output every thing goes wrong
    and the CS-pin exceed up to 850mV and the LM5045 goes to hiccup mode.
    how can I determine the correct value of RC filter connected to the CS pin? I used R=39ohm,C=10nF but not sure to select them in correct way.
    is there any more documents around this IC except datasheet and AN2111,AN2113,AN2222.
