Hello, I'm planning to synchrozine multiple TPS55010 on a single board. And want to use this approach:

The U2 is a buffer with 3-state output control.

I will activate buffer output only for synchronization. Is it normal to have direct dc-coupled connection of driver output with RT/CLK input (the situation when buffer output is active but RT/CLK internal 0.5V voltage source hasn't been removed yet)?

Hi Konstantin,

This is the recommended method when using a 3-state buffer. When connected dc, a buffer should be used for each TPS55010.

The buffer should also be placed as close as possible to the TPS55010 in the layout to minimize the length of the trace connected to the RT/CLK pin. This is only important to reduce noise sensitivity when in RT mode.
