LM5160 FlyBuck Eval-Kit problem with switching signal

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5160

Dear TI support and members,

ErrorFlyBuck_EVAL.pdf

i build the TI - evaluation board for the isolated IGBT Gate-Drive Fly-Buck power supply.

From my local manufacturer i get the PCB. This was orderd by the gerber files which are located on the TI - website.

I popolated the PCB by all components and values from the design sheet. All components (including the WÜRTH transformer) are placed

with the correct values from the TI - circuit diagram.

The problem is that the switching signal from the LM5160 is not in order. Also the Vprim reach not the 10.5 V.

The Vsec voltages are all at 15,.. V and the negative voltages are about 3,.. V. All voltages are measured by unloaded output.

If i uses a load of around 10 mA on the positive Vsec outputs the voltage is breaking down on 5 to 6 volts and the negative voltages are rising.

In case of soldering out the transformer and operating the circuit without the transformer the switiching signal Vsw is absolutely rectangular.

To get a better overview i attached an pdf with the measured signals.

It would be great if somebody can help me.

Best regards

mike
