I have been using the UCC28950 in peak current mode control but now find that I need the benefit of average current mode control. As part of the change I have connected a 10k resistor from Rsum to Vref to put the device in Voltage Mode Control. I have disconnected current sense signals from CS as they now go through the error amplifier. Now there are no output pulses regardless of COMP voltage. Does CS need a specific voltage or impedance for proper operation? Is there some other change that is needed?
