Switching power loss

Hi there,

I have reading about efficiency of nonsynchronous buck converters through  slyt358.pdf and slva057 documents from texas. In these documents, the power switching losses are calculated in diferent ways. The document slyt358 calculate as folowing:

Psw = VIN×VOUT × 0 5. ( Tise +Tfall )× Fsw (Page 16 , equation 2)

Other formula in slva057 document defines switching power loss otherwise:

Psw=VIN×IOUT × 0 5. ( Tise +Tfall )× Fsw(Page 26 , first equation)

Which of these is correct?
