Recommendation for Optocoupler Type

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO7640FM

Hello,

I am currently trying to build an adapter connecting two devices. One is a simulator which works under 5V and supplies up to 50 mA. The other is an inverter which accepts 3.3V and minimum 1.5 mA. As you understand, I am looking for an optocoupler capable of doing both voltage translation from 5V to 3.3V and isolation to prevent the simulator from voltage spikes coming from the inverter. This optocoupler will be used through the PWM signal channels.

Do you have any recommendation for me to use?

PS: I decided not to use voltage level translation because of high impedance of optocoupler I have. Please take a look:

PS2: Actually, I am considering to use ISO7640FM . Do you think it is suitable for design?
