I have started to design a charging circuit to charge single Li-Ion 4.2V battery using the BQ24266.

  1. How do I calculate the value of the inductor? will it work with 1uH 5A inductor to charge the battery at 1.8A using a 12Vdc/2A wall adaptor?
  2. If I am going to use 12Vdc/2A wall adaptor and charge the battery at 1.8V can I set the DPPM to work at 2.5A?

I found mistakes in the datasheet:

  1. Page 17 - The equation for Icharge is does not make sense
  2. Page 22 - Please check the equation to calulate RLO & RHI for external NTC connection
