I just want to ask about the your product UCC28180EVM-573, I have just notice that at the layout board, that the positive line along with the Cin and the inductor is closely placed at the power ground, is it for spark gap purposes?

Placing the high voltage input line close to the return ground reduces the loop conduction area.
This helps to minimize EMI.
