LM5035C: cross conduction

We are concerned that the cross conduction is occurred if the programmed delay is zero or very small. (HO and LO , SR1 and SR2)

Does this device has any protection circuit for that event?

I understand we should set that delay more than zero. However we need to consider it for fail-safe.

Hi Hamamoto-san,

Since there is no internal fixed dead-time for LM5035C and LM5035B, it is recommended the delay pin resistor not be less than 10k to prevent cross conduction between the primary FETs and SRs.

However, LM5035A does provide 70ns (nominal) fixed dead-time, you might want to look into A version.
