Hi,

I would like to know about temperature drift of propagation delay.

I saw the graph about Propagation delay VS temperature in datasheet.

(Figure 12. Propagation Delay vs. Temperature in SLUSCJ9B)

How does this drift vary between individuals and lots?

I would like to see if there is data that understands the variability between individuals and lots.

I need to know the drift variation to consider the temperature correction.

Please provide information.

Hello Tomoaki,

All the temperature shifts between parts and lots are well characterized, and the delay should be within the spec shown in page 10.
Figure 12 is a typical curved based a few parts testing. I will try to loop our test team and help explain further.

Can I get new information from you or test team?

I understood the spec of propagation delay all over temperature.

In the figure. 12, the propagation delay decreases at low temperature and increases at high temperature.

Is this trend the same between lots and between individuals?

I am wondering if it may be the opposite slope.

Hello Tomoaki-san,

I discussed with our test team and review the temperature data. At 125C, our delay is higher than low temperature.

We see around 2ns decrease from 125C to 25C, and 1ns-1.5ns decrease from 25C to -40C. Wish this can help you.

Your information is very helpful for me.

But I have something I want to know further.

Is the 2ns and 1ns-1.5ns you said the average or worst value?

In that case, can you tell me the number of N and the number of lots that you evaluated?

If there are data of multiple samples on the graph as Fig. 12, I would like to refer to it.
