WEBENCH® Tools/UCC28070: current sense pin voltage control

Part Number: UCC28070

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi,

For ucc28070 based converter design cs pin voltage is getting very high i.e around 70V .as per datasheet this voltage is to be -0.5-7V .Here attached the waveform.please suggest me how to reduce this pin voltage.

  • Hi Harijarani,

Can you you zoom in to a couple of cycles of the waveform? The current in the PFC inductor will ramp in a linear manner, di/dt is given by the the voltage across the inductor divide by the time, rearrange the equation V=Ldi/dt.

  • Hello Harij

I think this is the same sim / issue that we have been talking about ?

I think the main issue with the previous sim was that you had swapped the CSA and CSB signals - can you double check this please - you can use the schematic that I sent to you as a reference.

If that doesn't work then please send me your latest schematic and I will try to debug it further. I'm at colingillmor@ti.com

    Regards
