DNP010 / DNP012 / DNP012A

Hello Bernardo,

  I'm not finding any information on these DNP-series controllers.  Can you provide more information, perhaps a schematic, and a top-side picture of one of these devices, please?

Could it be the devices you have identified as DNP01x are instead DCP01x?  This would make more sense, as we do have power modules with this designation.  Please review, send a picture, etc.  If this is indeed the case, the DCP01x Product Folder pages are on the TI website, available for you to use.

  Were you able to verify the correct part number on the devices?  It has been several days and I would like to know if we have resolved this issue; please advise.

Hello Leonardo, thanks for your interest. I can't solve because can't find any data or pinout about this IC.

Apparently is a green PWM controller for isolated switching supply from TI.

It came from a SONY power supply.

Hi Bernardo,

  We're having some difficulty identifying these devices.  Please send similar pictures of the other two devices.  We've found possible TPS351x-family of Supervisors, or, BQ27541 BGP, but from your description, neither sounds appropriate.  We'll see if we can further refine this with the info on the other two devices.

  And just for my info, why are you needing this info?  Repair of the unit?  Redesign?  Just curiosity?  I'm assuming you do not have a schematic, is that correct?

  Seems these ICs were custom marked for Sony, and as such, they would have been custom marked under a Non-Disclosure Agreement.  As such, even if I knew what the corresponding part number might be, I would not be allowed to convey that information to you or anyone else due to the confidentiality. 

My suggestion is to try and get a schematic from Sony, or perhaps you can even find a schematic from an authorized Sony repair center.  What is the product name and model number?
