UCC27714EVM-551: Using this EVM for 600W wireless power transfer

Part Number: UCC27714EVM-551
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28950

Hi,

My idea is to replace the power transformer on this EVM with a wireless power transfer capable TX and RX coils. However, from the space and frequency constraints, I can only afford a 60uH magnetizing inductance and 16uH leakage inductance on the primary but I can still maintain 21:1 turns ratio with center tap on secondary. The recommendation from MathCAD design tool is Lm = 2.8mH and Llk = 4uH at inductor switching frequency of 600kHz (converter switching frequency is 300kHz). Can you please advice on the design changes I need to make in order to compensate for the low magnetizing inductance and high leakage inductance in the wireless power transfer set-up? If you think this exercise is futile, can you please suggest any other controller for high power wireless (10kW - 15kW) power transfer from TI and the corresponding reference designs?

Thanks,

Hema
