380VAC – 480VAC 3phase coming in. Rectifier then creating 500-700V DC bus

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28070, UCC2817A, UCC28180

Hello,

Do we have a solutions for the requirements below? any reference designs?

380VAC – 480VAC 3phase coming in.  Rectifier then creating 500-700V DC bus

  • Hello David,

I think you are asking for a pfc type power supply that can operate from a rectified 3 phase source.
    Is that correct?
There must be some more design requirements such as power levels, efficiency, power factor, cost ....  etc etc.
Do you know what the application is ?

Any of the pfc controllers can be used to generate 700V DC from a rectified 3 phase 480Vac
In high power application you can use the UCC28180, UCC28070 or the UCC2817A
The reference designs for these parts are all for single phase 85Vac to 264Vac with a 400Vdc output
It is a straight forward task of changing the rectifier from a single phase to a 3 phase and setting the output voltage to 700Vdc

    Regards
