UCC28911: AC/DC Dual isolated output power supply

Part Number: UCC28911
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28711, PMP10267

Hello Team,

Im in the initial stage to design an AC/DC dual isolated power supply.

So far iv found the flyback topology to work the best since it provides me with the isolation and the ability to have multiple isolated outputs.

My parameters are AC Input of 83-265 Vac 50/60 Hz and Output 1: 5v @100mA Output 2: 24v @200mA

Have you guys encounter any other topologies that will provide Isolation for multiple outputs.

Thanks

  • Hi Bernardo,

Thanks for your interest in TI. Flyback is a good choice when needing multiple isolated outputs because it requires only a few additional components to implement another output rail. Flyback is also a good choice for low wattage outputs such as your design requirements. Take a lok at PMP10267. It is an example of UCC28711 with multiple output voltages: www.ti.com/.../PMP10267

    Best Regards,
