Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28070, UCC28180
Is the UCC 28060 operable with DC 180 V to 800 V input?
The output voltage setting is DC500V and the output power is 1kW.
Please tell me why it is possible to operate.

Hello michifuji,
The UCC28060 can be operated with a DC input voltage.
However the UCC28060 is a transition mode pfc controller and is not suitable for power levels of 1kW. You should consider using on ot he CCM type pfc controllers such as the UCC28070 or the UCC28180 at this power level.
Also if you DC output voltage is 500V you will not be able to operate with an 800V DC input.
The max input voltage for this application needs to be less than 500V .

John
Hello John-san,
Thank you for your reply.
If the input voltage is 1000 V, 1 kW under the condition of DC 150 - 800 V, can you tell me whether the suitable pfc controller is other than UCC 28070 or UCC 28180?
Also, are there any controllers that can be recommended other than the pfc controller?
