UCC2897A: Out Short Circuit Protection.

Hello Team,

My customer is wondering about the output short circuit protection behavior of UCC2897A, I don't see it shown in datasheet, is it hiccup mode? or cycle by cycle current limit? what can you tell more about it?

Hi Martin,

Section 5 of the datasheet states that there is a 0.5V cycle by cycle current limit and that the hiccup level is 0.75V. Unfortunately the datasheet does not mention that feature again.
