TPS65162: How to disable the gate voltage shaping (GVS) block?

Part Number: TPS65162

Customer used TPS65162 LCD bias , and they won’t use the  voltage shaping function , so they will not use  VFLK pin

And there is not any description in datasheet  about how to deal with the VFLK when not used.

Could you pls help on this

  1. How to deal with the VFLK pin when not use?

Now, I  asked Skyworth to use a 1K resistor pull down to the ground  as it is an input pin.

  2. Is the external circuit changed if VFLK is not used?

  • 1. In the datasheet on page 23 you can find the following sentence:

"In the application of not using this function, connect VDPM, VFLK with high."

Please recommend the customer to use the VGHM output for their system VGH to follow the start-up sequencing. If they are using VGH to supply their system, the system VGH will start with the AVDD boost converter and delay 2 has no function anymore.

    2. I would keep the external circuitry. E.g. the resistor on RE could be used to discharge VGH, as long as the EN1 is still high.
