Part Number: UCC2305
Good Morning E2E TeamI have some questions about the UCC2305. Right now im using it for my master job degree, i m using it to build a hid ballast, he hid lamp that im using is the eyelighting it has internal ignitor,the parameters to feed it are: 52 Volts and 1.6 Amps and the power is 70, i used the flyback topology for this objective. I was readind all youyr information about to use the ucc2005, but the lamp does not start.Could you give me a hand with this isuue?

Lamp does not start can be caused by anything: wrong schematic, poor PCB layout, wrong feedback signal, not enough VCC, poor compensation, etc. It is difficult for us to give you advice without detailed information. Please refer the flyback design example in the datasheet to double check you design. There is also an application note available http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua078a/slua078a.pdf
