TPS65150: broken unit due to elevated Q1 On-Resistance

Part Number: TPS65150

We found the on-state resistance of the internal Q1 MOSFET to be ~7.5-Ohm in a failing TPS65150. What is the most likely cause for the degradation of that switch? The device is being used in conjunction with a standard LCD screen drawing roughly 150mA of power. The unit ran only for a few days, mainly under elevated temperature conditions. Thank you. Falk
