Further information about LM3407 current accuracy

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3407

In the datasheet of LM3407 component, I have just found an information about the current accuracy of 10%.

Does this accuracy include all the operating temperature range, the aging, all the cases of load configuration ?

What does this number mean ?

Best regards,

  • From the figure shown in the data sheet(figure2 & 4), it is better to understand '10% current accuracy' in the condition of full load(350mA with 2,4 or 6 LED) and within the temperature range from -40C to 125C. LM3407 is a driver for high power LED and 350mA is a quiet common current level which gives you approximately 1W per LED.
