Hi, we want to use the TLC59108F. The datasheet does show: Low Standby Current.

How big is this standby current? Is this current active, when all LEDs are off (6 mA / 3V) or can I reduce this current much more, (e.g. holding the RESET input low?

Hi Gerd,

This is the lowest current the device will consume. Applying the reset signal will not lower the standby current consumption.

One option is to add a load switch such as TPS22946 to disconnect power from the device. This will allow you to reduce the standby power consumption to the uA range.
