LP55231 Evaluation Software with Windows 7

I am able to bring up the LP55231 Evaluation Software Control Panel on my Windows XP system without any problem. When I attempt to run the same LP55231.exe program on my new Windows 7 system, however, it hangs my system without any error message.

Hi Martin,

Can you check that the rtl60.bpl file is in the same folder as the LP55231.exe? I have run this software succesfully and I have Windows7.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a rtl60.bpl file in the same directory as the LP55231.exe file. However, your reply made me think to compare the directory contents of my Windows 7 machine versus my Windows XP machine, and I noticed that I had one extra file in my Windows 7 directory: the Lysti.ini file (which I had copied to my PSPad editor/Snytax directory, but had not deleted from the upper level directory). When I deleted the Lysti.ini file from my upper level directory (the one containing the LP55231.exe file) it executed OK. Thanks for you help.
