LOOKING FOR A DC DC LED DRIVER WHICH CAN DELIVER 7W output with 12V DC Supply

Dear sir,

We are currently looking for an DC DC driver which can deliver 7W output. Please suggest an IC. Can we use LM3404 for our expected output result.

Hello,

What's your LED configuration and LED current?

We got quiet a lot solutions with different current level.

Eg:

LM3402 - 0.5A

LM3404 - 1A

LM3406 -1.5A

Sir thanks for you prompt response. Actually i have gone though these ICs sir. 12V DC Battery is available as source.. but we have to generate 7W at least 6W..current rating of 150mA, 3.2V leds are available in our stock. if its needed high current led s can also buy from the manufacturer.
For eg:
Vin =12v
Expected Vout = 6.2V
Expected Iout = 1A (10 parallel lines each carries 2 leds )

LM3404 could be fine as the typical current limit is 1.5A in data sheet. If you'd prefer some margin, you can choose LM3406.
