hi My customer is using 37 Leds
LED 20ma VF 3V to 3.6v
Vin 4v2
Total losses
4.2V(in)-3V(vf)= 1.2V
Power dissipation on the IC:
1.2v * 20mA ( LED current) = 24mW
Total Power dissipation on the IC:
37 LEDS * 24mw = 888mW
+ 150mw of the IC itself???
Is 1 W power losses acceptable? in the worst case.
i saw that we will have a 32deg more dissipation + the Ambient temperature!!
is these result correct?
