What is the maximum ton iis possible? What is the maximum Ron value may be put on?

    I don't think there really is a limit for a maximum ton, but in reality the practical limit for minimum switching frequency would be around 200kHz. If you go any lower than that the size and cost of the circuit start getting impractical and any efficiency gains you are hoping to achieve are not really there since the ESR of the inductor starts getting so high (higher L, more turns, higher resistance).
