Looking at the LM3410 datasheet, figure 32

 

Am I calculating correctly?  The inductor mentioned in this example seems like it has too small of an Isat(1.1A) for the application… I calculate something closer to iLpk=1.5A for Vin=2.7V, Vout~11V, Iout~340mA…. Seems OK for Vin=5V though).

    You are calculating correctly. It seems that the author of this datasheet made an error, or perhaps the BOMs between fig 31 and fig 32 got swapped by accident. This datasheet will be updated in the coming months and I will make sure that gets corrected at the same time. Thanks for catching that.
