TLC59116 local dimming.

Hi~ 

Customer want to design local dimming backlight with TLC59116.

They designed test circuit as below and they will use 12 out. At each out, they want to use 5 LED(Vf=2.95V, Total OUT voltage would be=2.95*5=14.75V, total LED# is 60EA).

LED Anode bias voltage is okay around 15V? how many headroom voltage need? Also let me have review on below circuit.

    Jin-Suk,

    You will need at least 1V on the output pin of each TLC59116 channel in order to see the desired current through the LED.

    For your schematic, please tie Reset to VBB. Reset is an active low pin that needs to be high in order to communicate to the LED driver.
