TPS62150 SS/TR pin voltage for analog dimming

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62150

Hello,

I am using a TPS62150 for driving a 1A led with analog dimming using SS/TR pin. The voltage applied to SS/TR is from 0 to 0.4V. This voltage is coming from a DAC 2.5V. A resistor divider 56K/10K is used to translate the voltage.  All is working fine but some TPS62150 burn (less than 1%). I would like to know why.

Is it due to the resistor divider value compare to the SS/TR source current ? In the SLVA451, the Rss resistor is calculated to 156K (equation 5 and 7).

If you need, I can give you a part of the schematic to analyse.

Thanks,

David
