TPS92641 can implement floating buck ?

The TPS92641 should work fine in a floating buck/negative output (buck-boost) configuration. Since all IC ground references become negative it still operates just like a regular buck. All control signals would have to be level shifted and UVLO will need to remain ground referenced for correct turn-on functionality.

I don't have a schematic handy, but you would implement it like any other inverting buck. Referring to the front page schematic you will basically put L in place of QLS connected from SW to system ground. Then put QLS in place of L. Then the output becomes negative and all other component grounds including the IC will connect to this negative voltage (other than the inductor).
