UCC28810: Design led driver based on UCC28810

Part Number: UCC28810

I am looking for any kind of help, links, support for designing LED driver for street light application.

Power is around 80W, current 0.7A, 32 leds with 3.3 V of forward voltage.

0) Which tools and software are needed?

1) Are there solutions with transformers and inductors that are available without custom work?

Thanks,

Zhanat

  • Zhanat,

In the UCC28810 web page in the tools and software tab, there are design calculators towards the bottom of the page you should use: www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

It appears that the UCC28810EVM-002 is close to your design requirements, the recommendation is to use a transformer from Coiltronics. You should contact your magnetics supplier to see if non-customer magnetics are available for your design.
