Vin = 12V, why Fault pin not high
i read 0x0F=0x40

DISP_CL1_CURRENT[11:0] sets the actual maximum current which can be same or lower than DRV_LED_CURRENT_SCALE[2:0] value, which sets the max scale or maximum current limit.
DISPL_CL1_BRT determines the brightness or duty % if BRIGHTNESS REGISTER is used as the display brightness mode, or it will also affect brightness % if PWM INPUT DUTY x BRIGHTNESS REGISTER mode is used.
Output voltage will be determine by your LED load forward voltage (typ 3V per LED) plus headroom voltage at the output pin ~1-2V.
